Center Seal

What is Center Seal

Center Seal is a centerline insulator designed to seal the gap created when mating multi-section manufactured homes.  This patented process utilizes a flexible linear insulating foam core contained in a high strength vapor barrier sheathing with flanges for fastening to the mating surfaces around the perimeter of on half of the home.  The development of Center Seal is the result of years of field research, hands on experience and valuable feedback from homeowners, service technicians, set-up crews, retailers and manufacturers.

Why Seal the Centerline???

Multi-section manufactured homes are set up and joined together on site in the field.  An inherent characteristic of this process is a void at the marriage line.  No matter how straight and level the home, or how tight the halves come together there is inevitably a gap at the centerline. This void, however slight, allows for the possibility of structural and cosmetic damage as well as thermal inefficiency due to moisture and air infiltration.  Center Seal is the best insurance against these potential liabilities.

Reduce Costs with Center Seal!!!

Center Seal helps reduce your costs in many ways, most importantly by minimizing warranty claims stemming from moisture damage.  Moisture infiltration at the centerline can cause severe damage to carpet, floor vinyl, wall and ceiling panels, etc..  Damage of this nature is usually very costly to repair and frequently results in material replacement.  The ability of Center Seal to endure repeated resets will reduce your cost associated with display and show model homes, unlike other insulation products that are destroyed or fall apart when a home is separated.  A one time application of Center Seal is all that is required rather than the repeated labor and material usage involved with other materials.
