Product Description:

Touch ‘n Seal is a one component gun foam adhesive that has been specifically developed for use in the manufactured housing industry. This adhesive can be used as a construction adhesive, sound barrier, insulator, hole filler and sealant to fill hard-to-reach openings and provide air-tight insulation.

Touch ‘n seal meets and conforms to ASTM C557, CGSB 71.25, has been tested under ASTM E72-80 and is UL Classified under the ASTM E 84 test (see detailed UL Classification marking shown on product).

This allows the applicator gun to be repaired or exchanged without having

to bleed all of the material out of the hose.

Historically one component polyurethane adhesives have been dispensed from a small 12 to 24 ounce can or through an elaborate and expensive pumping system. While these adhesives have provided the industry with outstanding performance characteristics they have sadly been plagued with many negative issues. The new Touch ‘n Seal Canister system successfully addresses each and every one of these negative issues.

Buying the adhesive in the larger 16lb. canister significantly reduces the cost of packaging, providing a cost savings of up to 20%.

· Eliminates residual waste:

Using the adhesive in the larger 16lb. canister significantly reduces the residual waste which has become an accepted part of using this type of adhesive.

· Significantly Increases Life Span of Applicator:

Because the applicator gun is effectively separated from the mess of the container exchange process, a significant increase in the life span of the applicator can be expected.

· Addresses Cleanliness Issue:

One of the main complaints of the one component polyuerathane adhesive is cleanliness. The new Touch ‘n Seal Canister System effectively address this issue by separating the applicator gun from the messy container exchange process and by making container exchanges less frequent.

· Reduces Cleaner Usage:

Most of the cleaner usage occurs during the frequent and quite messy container exchange process. Using the smaller containers many adhesive users have found it necessary to use an entire 12oz can of cleaner during every container exchange. By significantly reducing container exchanges (1 canister is equivalent to nearly 11 24oz cans) the new Touch ‘n Seal Canister System can reduce cleaner usage by up to 90%.

Please notice the 4” pigtail and the cut-off valve that has been installed between the canister and the hose. The cutoff valve allows the exchange of the canister without any significant loss of adhesive from the hose. The pigtail allows a degree of flexibility which is needed between the valve and the canister as well as being a component that can be easily replaced as it becomes corroded or is damaged during the canister exchange process. The use of this pigtail will provide an expendable component that should effectively eliminate the need of replacing the more expensive valve and hose assembly.
